WHO WE ARE

Asise Kepu Foundation (AKF) is a community based Organization located at Dambia, Oti Region. The foundation was registered by some young men who were born the community and grew up there in July 2021 with a common interest to restore the environment and its cover that was destroyed first through the construction of the largest man made lake in the world , the Volta Lake. A littoral community sitting on the Oti River the major tributary of the Volta River which was used for the dam to generate Ghana's hydro electrical power it resulted in the submerging of the trees now as stumps causing deaths to people using the waters.

Further, necessary due to the alarming rate of bush fires, improper waste disposal and tree cutting in Dambai community. Their core objective was to restore the fast depleting environment and also ensure that waste collected regularly. This to them reduce global warming and create a serene environment for human habitation.
